DSTA had our Silver Jubilee birthday celebration on 7 March 2025. From humble beginnings, the people of DSTA have shaped the organisation into what it is today. Befitting of this, leaders and staff from past and present gathered at the special event to celebrate 25 years of DSTA.
Guests came together to look back at their work and achievements over the years, and penned their wishes for DSTA on a wish board, while also recognising the contributions of our pioneers.
It was a memorable occasion celebrating DSTA’s people and the spirit of innovation, excellence and collaboration that makes up our DNA. The birthday celebration was more than just a festive occasion, it was an affirmation of our shared purpose and mission. Here’s to another 25 years and beyond!

In his speech, Chairman DSTA Mr Melvyn Ong spoke on how DSTA has transformed the SAF over the years, our support for public agencies beyond defence, as well as the organisation’s important role in today’s uncertain world.
CE DSTA Mr Ng Chad-Son recognised the contributions of our pioneers in his speech, and highlighted the importance of DSTA’s ops-tech partnership with MINDEF/SAF, strengthening partnerships with government and industry, as well as investing in our people.
