With the Community

At DSTA, we recognise our responsibility to the community and environment, and our role as a positive force for change. This is demonstrated through our active involvement in community service and environmental sustainability initiatives.

Community Service

Our staff volunteer and participate in community services – from monthly donation programmes with the Community Chest to the annual Boys’ Brigade Share-a-Gift programme. We have also initiated a wide array of activities with social service organisations to show our support.

Since 2018, we have incorporated charity efforts into our annual National Day Observance Ceremony. Against the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic, we launched the DSTA for the Invictus Fund campaign to raise funds for social service agencies to provide critical services to vulnerable individuals, families and communities.

Environmental Sustainability

Our commitment to environmental sustainability is underpinned by three key thrusts.

  1. We adopt and embed environmental sustainability policies and practices into our core business areas, to promote sustainable operations and responsible resource management.
  2. We harness technology to enhance efficiency and drive innovative solutions to minimise resource consumption and reduce waste.
  3. We foster a culture of environmental sustainability by engaging our employees and stakeholders in our environmental initiatives and encouraging responsible practices across the organisation.

Our efforts are in line with the Singapore Green Plan 2030, a whole-of-nation movement to advance Singapore’s national agenda on sustainable development. Our inaugural annual environmental sustainability disclosure, covering our FY23 performance can be found in the link below.
