Honouring Contributions: DSTAppreciation Week

25 Jan 2025

The DSTAppreciation Week 2025 launched DSTA’s Silver Jubilee year with a heartfelt celebration of its people. It was a week to honour the dedication and hard work of the staff, strengthen bonds across teams, and make a meaningful impact on the community and environment. The festivities shone a spotlight on the values of recognition, camaraderie and purpose that define DSTA.

In the spirit of appreciation, the week was filled with a vibrant line-up of activities that brought everyone together. Staff came together to show appreciation for one another through creative and meaningful gestures, shared moments of fun and laughter, and celebrated the diverse talents within the organisation. It was also an opportunity for staff to do their part for the community and environment.

The week left a lasting impression on all, sparking camaraderie and fostering connections. While the events have ended, the spirit of togetherness and collaboration continues to define DSTA, setting the tone for an exciting year ahead.

The 2025 edition of DSTA red packets was given out, adding a festive touch to the occasion.

A fun magazine-themed photobooth injected cheer and transformed colleagues into cover stars.

Craft stations provided opportunities for staff to design personalised items with messages of gratitude for mentors and peers.

Colleagues gifted sweet treats to one another as tokens of appreciation. All proceeds were donated to the Community Chest, combining thoughtful gestures with a meaningful cause.

Teams went head-to-head in a series of games, all in the spirit of friendly rivalry and team bonding.

The high energy carried over to the talent show, where colleagues took the spotlight and impressed everyone with their performances.

The week culminated in the DSTAppreciation Awards, honouring individuals whose contributions and efforts have left a lasting impact on their colleagues and the organisation.

DSTA’s management team marked the end of the week by planting Happiness Trees within the grounds. The trees symbolise a commitment to sustainability and serve as lasting reminder of the organisation’s green efforts.

Following the planting ceremony, staff enjoyed a nature walk – a refreshing moment to connect with one another and the outdoors.
