We don’t aim to just provide information on our website, but we also work towards ensuring a great user experience with an optimal design and structure. For that, we’ve received the Best Accessibility award at the inaugural Digital Services Awards ceremony!
For exemplifying the industry standard of web content accessibility and usability, DSTA received the Best Accessibility award (small agency category: 1 – 5 informational services). Presented by GovTech, the award recognises agencies with the highest accessibility score (measured in terms of optimal website design and structure) to ensure positive user experiences.
Speaking at the hybrid awards ceremony on 6 December 2021, Permanent Secretary (Smart Nation and Digital Government) and Chairman of GovTech Ng Chee Khern highlighted that the awards aim to recognise the efforts by government agencies in improving the digital service usability of its websites.
Commending all agencies for their hard work, he added: “The Digital Services Awards will continue to encourage all agencies to improve together, as well as take government digital services to the next level.”
Echoing the sentiments, Product Head (DSTA Systems) Derrick Lau added: “I am honoured to be able to represent DSTA to receive the prestigious award. Our team will continue to enhance the DSTA website, and provide a meaningful experience for all who visit it.”
